Finding the game too difficult to play through during testing, he created a cheat code to give the player a full set of power-ups (normally attained gradually throughout the game). After entering the sequence using the controller when the game was paused the player received all available power-ups. The mistake was discovered after the release, but developers decided to leave it there, as removing it could result in new bugs and glitches.
The sequence was easy enough to remember for testers and simultaneously sufficiently hard to enter accidentally during the gameplay for unsuspecting users. The Konami Code was thus included in the series' other and spin-offs, with some key differences:. In the version of, the original code destroys the player's ship.
However, replacing ← and → with the L and R triggers of the SNES controller powers up the ship. In the most recent iteration of the series— on the Wii—the 's 1 and 2 buttons fill in for A and B, respectively.

In mobile phone games by Konami, they are replaced by 5 7 3 on the numerical pad, which is the pronunciation for 'konami'; 5 is pronounced go, 7 can be pronounced nana or just na for short, and 3 is usually pronounced as 'san' but has an alternative pronunciation of 'mi'. Together, this becomes go-na-mi. 573 is also used extensively in the series; the original board for (also used in many other Konami designs) was called, the maximum combo in several difficult songs (such as ) is 573, highscores often start out at 573 000 or similar, and so on. These deviations may occur for purely operational reasons (e.g., if the code must be entered while the game is paused, the code might be altered to avoid resuming), to keep powerful upgrades better concealed while still referencing Konami, or through a programming error. Curiously, the 'B' and 'A' buttons were switched for the code when used in the 1991 NES game. Despite the differences, though, these codes are still often referred to in general discussion as 'Konami Code', 'Conami Kode', or, less commonly, 'Pseudo-Konami Code'.

Dj mixing software with dual-deck-style UltraMixer is a DJ-Mixing-Software which enables you to mix digital music in various formats such as MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV or CDs in real time. All you need is a sound card. The DJ's turntables are replaced by two digital SoundPlayers, the 'vinyls' are available within seconds through the integrated FileArchive. UltraMixer is also perfectly suited for the use as virtual jukebox in restaurants, hair studios or medical surgeries. UltraMixer supports DJ- and MIDI-Controller - especially the Hercules DJ Console!
UltraMixer, as the name suggests, is a mixing program aimed at DJs. Fitted with two channels a mixer and library, it allows you to store your tracks and play them consecutively, adjusting sound settings along the way.
UltraMixer's interface is clear although first time DJs will probably find it handy to get grips with the different elements. Use of typical features like the crossfader, equalizer or cue are just like you would expect on a regular mixer. The UltraMixer library is well organized in a tree structure, and allows you to keep all your different tracks the way you're most comfortable with. The installation process is long and awkward however and is probably aimed at getting you to purchase the more advanced, expensive version of UltraMixer.
Within this download, there are three versions: professional, basic and free. You'll need a key to activate the demo, and the process takes too long. UltraMixer is a powerful DJing application but the awkward and lengthy installation process to access the free version will frustrate and annoy many. UltraMixer supports the following formats MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, Audio-CD. By Anonymous Ultra Mixer 3.0.0.
